Christine Soza
Christine's journey into becoming a Doulagiver began in her youth, instilling in her a deep understanding of the value of time, presence and connection. From supporting an elderly woman with dementia as a teenager, to her subsequent roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant. oncology and hospice nurse, Christine has provided compassionate care to hundreds, often holding hands with those nearing their final moments.
Christine Soza is an experienced nurse, Certified End-of-Life Doula and lead trainer for Doulagivers Institute, dedicated to transforming how individuals, caregivers, and communities approach the dying process. With a deep commitment to compassionate presence, she combines her clinical nursing expertise with holistic doula practices to support people physically, emotionally, and spiritually at the end of life.
As a lead trainer for doulas, Christine equips others with the skills, confidence, and understanding needed to provide meaningful non-medical support during this profound life transition. Her practice emphasizes dignity, advocacy, and the sacred nature of dying as a human experience rather than merely a medical event.
Through her work, Christine empowers both caregivers and doulas to hold space for those nearing death with calming strength and guidance as well as heartfelt care-ensuring that no one ever needs to navigate this journey alone.

Suzanne B. O’Brien is a registered nurse who has worked most of her career in either Hospice (end-of-life care) and/or Oncology (cancer care).
She has had the honor and privilege to have personally worked at the bedside with over one thousand end-of-life patients and their families, from all different cultures, backgrounds, and nationalities.
In addition to being the creator and founder of Doulagivers Institute, she is also a founding member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s (NHPCO) End of Life Doula Council and a founding member and former Vice President of the National End of Life Doula Alliance (NEDA).
For over a decade now, she has been training End-of-Life Doulas to help support and serve our vulnerable elder population.
She helps incredibly passionate people become the best possible non-medical, holistic practitioner you can be, so that you can help the people that need you most.
